What counts as a “completed” chat?

A session that reaches a natural end state in the widget (user finishes or abandons after the flow is considered complete). Partial or abandoned sessions may not count toward your plan limit. Exact rules are enforced in product and documented in your dashboard.

What counts as a “completed” chat?

How does the free discount / offer bar limit work?

On Free, the offer bar only appears for 30 minutes per UTC calendar day. The clock starts when the first eligible bar response is served that day; after 30 minutes the API returns no bar until the next UTC day. Upgrade to any paid tier for an always-on bar. On Free, the Retention Copilot embed and the offer bar (when it is shown) include a small linked “Powered by flidget.com”; paid tiers remove that attribution.

Who sends drift rescue emails: Flidget or my domain?

On Free, Flidget delivers drift rescue mail for you (no DNS). Your template subject is sent with “(via Flidget)” appended, and the message includes a small Powered by Flidget note in the body. On Starter, Growth, and Scale, you connect your own sending domain and From address in the dashboard so outreach sends from your brand.

How long do you keep conversation transcripts?

We automatically delete older conversations on a schedule: Free keeps them 7 days, Starter 30 days, Growth and Scale 90 days (from each conversation’s start time, UTC). Export anything you need to keep before that window if you’re on a paid tier with export.

How does billing work?

New accounts begin on a 14-day Free trial (up to 50 completed Retention Copilot conversations and 50 drift users during the trial, then pause until upgrade). Starter includes 200 completions and 500 drift users per month (UTC); Growth includes 550 completions and 1,500 drift users. Starter and Growth are billed monthly through Paddle when configured. Manage cards and invoices from the customer portal in Billing. Scale is sales-assisted and priced by user base. This is separate from how you charge your own customers; the widget does not require Stripe, Paddle, or any specific gateway on your product.

We use Stripe / Razorpay / PayPal. Can we still use Flidget?

Yes. The widget only needs a place on your cancel or subscription UI. It does not integrate with payment APIs. Teams use Flidget alongside Stripe Billing, Paddle, Razorpay, Chargebee, PayPal subscriptions, and many others.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade when you’re approaching your monthly completion limit, or move to Scale when you need unlimited volume and webhooks. Downgrades typically apply on the next billing cycle; confirm in the portal or with support.

Do you offer annual pricing?

We can offer annual terms on Growth and Scale for teams that prefer upfront commits. Mention it when you reach out; we’ll align invoices with your procurement process.

Is my customers’ chat content used to train AI models?

Treat Flidget like any third-party AI integration: review your model provider’s data policies and use enterprise-appropriate settings where available. We design the product so you stay in control of what you send and store.

What about security and compliance?

We follow security-minded defaults (encryption in transit, isolated accounts). If you need a custom DPA, SAML, or audit requirements, Scale is the right tier to start that conversation.
